*We sell our salad bags and herbs at the Dunkeswell farmers market*
Honiton has a weekly market on Tuesday and Saturday morning,
good for produce and brick-a-brack.
Local Shops Churchinford and District Community Shop is in Churchinford Village Hall car park (3 miles away). An excellent source of basics, local produce including ours, newspapers and local delicacies.
Dorothy’s Farm Shop is in
Smeatharpe, our next village (2 miles), supplied with basics and lots of
treats, including home cooked chocolate tarts.
Waitrose, Sidmouthor Wellington
There is a Waitrose about 15 miles away at Sidmouth or 11 miles away in Wellington.
Of particular note here is a first class organic section and
a growing amount of genuinely local produce. We are pressing
Waitrose to start deliveries in this area.
There is a Tesco about 7 miles away with a petrol station. Tesco.com
do deliver although with the local shop and produce, maybe you don't need Tesco?
The Honiton Fishmongers
Situated at the High Street end of New Street in Honiton, this
fish shop offers a fairly wide selection of fish, seafood and
fresh game in season. Most are from local sources as well as
smoked produce from Bridport.
Complete Meats and 'Bakers the Butcher'
Are both situated on Honiton High Street. They offer a wide selection
of local meats and packs ready for the barbeque as well as
a reasonable cheese counter. The Budleigh Salterton pate is
delicious, highly recommended at Complete Meats and the stilton at 'Bakers the Butcher'.
There is good health food shop called Ganesha Wholefoods in Honiton
High St. Also a couple of health food shops in Wellington and in Taunton so ask us for further details.
